I'd have liked to have heard more about Mary Rodgers' career and fewer well-known anecdotes about her father (of whom I am a huge fan, however). I thought it was remarkable that when asked about her father's songwriting process, she recited almost word for word what he used to say himself.

Eight shows a week sounds insanely unfair to performers. It just sounds - mean. Why should such talented humans be burdened with such a horrific work load? Shouldn’t the most gifted of us work less? Mr. Cullum is a very gifted actor/singer. He maintains his composure and Always plays his parts to perfection. Enormous range, he can play everything from Shakespeare to a convenience store manager to a rough and tumble, but mellowed, mountain man.
